Who we are

We are a just another family who needed a place to store all of our recipes. Also, we feel bad about not keeping in closer touch with family and friends around the world, and we want them to know that we are eating well.

A quick caveat

We rarely follow recipes exactly (even our own). We often eyeball ingredient amounts rather than measuring them properly. We substitute ingredients based on what is in the fridge and needs to be eaten. Follow our recipes at your own risk.

Ingredients

As much as possible, we try to eat organic, fresh, non-processed vegetarian food. When we do buy canned food, we try to make sure we buy BPA-free cans. Then we hope that whatever is in the BPA-free cans is less toxic than BPA! Also, we mostly use soy milk (the real stuff) in our recipes, but as far as we can tell, you can nearly always substitute a different milk without problem.

Serving sizes

Unless noted otherwise, you can assume that all recipes will feed a family of two adults and two small children (under 5).

Photography

Apologies for the dodgy photography. When we actually remember to take a photo of our meal, we usually have two kids clamouring for their food, so the best we can manage is a quick iphone shot.
